The Baidar Gate is a mountain pass in the Crimean Mountains connecting the Baidar Valley with the Black Sea coast. It is enclosed by Mount Chelebi and Mount Ckhu-Bair. The view is breathtaking
One of the most beautiful places in Crimea, Swallow's Nest, is located on a cliff Aurora (central ledge of Cape Ai-Todor) and attracts many tourists from different countries.
It is Crimea’s symbol, looks as a nest overhanging the coast between Miskhor and Livadia, crowning a 38-meter cliff.
A Unesco World heritage site, Khersones Tauride is the name of the city founded by Greek colonists more than two and a half thousand years ago in the south-western tip of the Crimea. Now its ruins - one of the attractions of Sevastopol.
It includes not only a permanent exhibition, but also archaeological sites, the ancient choir, where tourists can even take part in the expedition, and much more.
The area of "Golden beam’s" vineyards is 1420 hectares. Here they grow such classic grape varieties like Pinot and Chardonnay. In addition to these two main varieties grown in agro firm Sauvignon, Riesling, Aligote, Silvaner, Traminer. After the wine tasting, we are going back to Balaklava Bay and getting on the boat. We are going sea fishing.
During this tour, you will experience the excitement and thrill of fishing, take photographs, enjoy unforgettable beauty of the Crimean coast. You will be able to appreciate the taste of freshly caught fish of the Black Sea, prepared according to old recipes of Balaklava paired with delicious wines right on board the boat.
Balaklava - a scenic area a few kilometers south of the center of Sevastopol. A nice marina resort, popular with tourists in the summer - there are many beautiful beaches in the district, accessible by water.
Balaklava has a rich history: from Ancient Greeks, Byzantine Empire during middle ages, Genoese (you can still explore the remainder ancient Genoese fortress) to Crimean War and Second World War (Soviet era top-secret nuclear submarine base).
Naval museum complex is an underground submarine base. It was a top-secret military facility during the Cold War. Today it serves as a museum.
This is one of the most beautiful places in Crimea! Untouched beauty! Mesmerizing wild beach! Cape Fiolent practically untouched by man territory, so the views here are picturesque and unique. The name comes from the Turkish language, where "Filink-breaker" means Tiger Cape. And the name, indeed, is justified: the stripes of yellowish limestone alternating with dark trachyte, resembling the color of a tiger.
According to one of the legends it was founded in 891. Originally it belonged to the Constantinopolitan Patriarchate. The first record of the monastery dates back to 1578. From 1778 (the Christians’ outcome from Crimea) to 1794 the monastery does not function. From 1806 it becomes the base monastery got the Black Sea Fleet hieromonachs. New temples are built: 1816 – the Great Martyr George Temple, 1850 – the Exaltation of the Cross Temple, 1893 – the Cave Church of the Nativity of Christ. The monastery is closed in 1929. It was revived in 1994. In 2000 there started the building of the Great Martyr George Temple, ruined 1927.
